Welcome to Shayamanzi’s live auctions site!

Passive capturing & online auctions - minimize stress for animals!

Here we present the opportunity for owners of South African wildlife game ranches to buy wildlife from the comfort of their office.

Wildlife on Shayamanzi are captured passively through our patented remote controlled passive capture and auction process. With the use of technology and the internet, this process effectively reduces stress on wildlife as well as cutting out some steps in the process before wildlife arrive on your farm. (This process dramatically reduces animal fatalities from the moment they are captured up to when they are settled in their new home.)

Please note that, although anyone can view an auction, only paying Leopard.tv website and/or app subscribers in South Africa can participate in bidding.

Also note that specific details that are required per lot, as well as the terms and conditions, are presented when you click on the "Place bid" button for the first time.

Passive capture of a Blue wildebeest

An excerpt from "Game ranch management", Fifth edition, published by Van Schaik Publishers. (Chapter 36, written by J. du P. Bothma, J.G. Du Toit & J. Van Rooyen)

Emeritus professor J du P Bothma

"Internet auctions are an innovation that is in step with international developments in internet access. They can be used especially in combination with holding pens that are attached to passive capture bomas (Chapter 33). Video and other imagery of the animals on offer appear on the selling rancher´s website, where prospective buyers can place bids. Professional wildlife transporters can then be used to deliver the animals to their destination. An example is the website of Shayamanzi Game Farm in the Waterberg of Limpopo which can be visited at http://www.shayamanzi.com or http://www.leopard.tv where actual sales are expected to be contracted soon. This procedure has a pending patent."
