A young kudu cow and a little vervet monkey drinking water

Behind a stone a small vervet monkey is hunched and drinking water. Opposite the monekey a young kudu cow is also drinking water. The moment the kudu stops drinking and looks up the monkey is startled. For a moment they stare at each other stunned, then the monkey looks at the water and back at the kudu. It is almost as if the monkey is not sure if he is allowed to drink or if he should rather run away (Video 1).
